  Wildlife Encounters > Otway Sound Penguins 2h 30m
Natural reserve home of the species “Magellanic Penguin”. These penguins inhabit an area of mounds and planes during their mating season from October to March. Moreover , they share their environment with other species such as foxes, seagulls, rheas, upland geese and many others.
   
  Wildlife Encounters > Estancia Lolita 2 hours
Exhibition centre of Magellanic fauna located 42 kilometres north of Punta Arenas. It offers a great variety of typical birds and mammals such as guanacos, caracara, rheas, foxes, pumas, swans, etc. Enjoy a ride through the valley of guanacos, valley of alpacas and among the paddocks, without doubt an unforgettable interaction with Magellanic wild life.

Historical Museum of Magallanes, is located within the Braun-Menéndez Mansion, a national monument. The museum, inaugurated in February, 1983, traces the discovery, colonization and development of the Magallanes region through historical objects, illustrations and photographs.
   
  Culture and Heritage > Fuerte Bulnes 3 hours
The first Chilean settlement in Magallanes, approximately 57 kilometres south of Punta Arenas. The tour includes haltings at Bahia Mansa, a picturesque fishermen bay and port famine where in 1584 Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa founded Ciudad del Rey Don Felipe. This alternative is without doubt a journey across the history and through beautiful scenaries.

There is a library, a botanical garden, a handicraft store, and the Museo del Recuerdo (Old Time Museum), with its collection of restored carriages, machines and tools used in pioneering times. There is also a maritime exhibit, a preserved garage and an example of a typical house from colonial times.
   
  Land Activities > Fenton Lookout Hill 2h 30m
Mount Fenton, located just 9 kilometres west of Punta Arenas offers during spring and summer seasons the possibility to perform entertainning walks in a marvelous environment of native forest. On the top of the mount at 615 meters above sea level the tourist will be able to have a beautiful view of Punta Arenas, the Straights of Magellan, Fire Land and Darwin mountain range.
   
  Attractions > Olga Teresa Farm Ranch 5h 30m
Ancient farm which dates back from 1920. It is located in the beautiful commune of Río Verde, it offers the visitor the opportunity to know the main activities and people belonging to a typical estancia of Chilean Patagonia. Olga Teresa invites its guest to protagonize a day trip full of adventures and surprises with for example horse ridings towards a nearby colony of condors.
   
  Attractions > Fitz Roy Farm Ranch 5h 30m
Magellanic farm located 95 kilometres north of Punta Arenas on Riesco island. Here, you will be able to see demostrations of shearing, sheep washing and herd driving with trained sheep dogs and experienced gauchos. Moreover, activities of horse riding through beautiful meadows. The tour includes a delicious “asado al palo”, a typical dish of Magallanes region.
   
  Attractions > San Isidro Lighthouse 7 hours
Meet the point of reference of all ships that sail by the Strait of Magellan time ago. Only 90 kilometres from the city is the lighthouse named San Isidro which is located in the southest point of the continent. Parts of Cordillera Ship remain in the shores and a variety of marine fauna can be seen around.
   
  Wildlife Encounters > Magdalena Island Penguins 6 hours
Navigation through the Straights of Magellan to finally arrive in this island with a population over 150.000 penguins from November to March. It is also possible to see other species on the island such as cormorans, seagulls and mammals like sea lions.

  Culture and Heritage > Maggiorino Borgatello Museum 1 hour
Constructed in 1893 by the Salesian missionaries. It is maintained today through voluntary contributions. The museum has exhibits on many topics, including the region's history, flora and fauna, indigenous tribes, mineralogy, and the work of the missionaries. Fossils, stuffed animals and petrified objects shown. Photographs of the tribes, as well as samples of their tools and other everyday objects.
